… [and] as then, as now, as silence flows: the heart still skips a beat [closed; done with]: every now and then I’d print something up on some “found” plywood; a scrap of something from somewhere. bought in some new ply this time though; wrapped it up in Kozo paper for added affect. four colour silkscreen print: image: 43 x 58cm; print base: 61 x 81cm. edition of 2. probably do this more often now; a one off print on ply in addition to a paper edition.

… [and] sometimes, just sometimes: everything is so shiny and beautiful [eyes closed: held]: three colour silkscreen print; to be cut down: 30 x 30cm. another go at printing this up to edition. final layer may just be a tad too dark; oh well, can’t be helped: mind is elsewhere. see how it looks after they have been cut down.

in the studio working on “… [and] sometimes, just sometimes: everything is so shiny and beautiful [eyes closed: held]”. tired and not really with it today; [printing] issues abound. got a proof done; print it to edition at a later date. image 22 x 22cm; paper to be cut down 30 x 30cm.

… untitled [every single second / all the small things]; three colour silkscreen print. small scale [measurement] variant edition of … [and] then, and only then: from the very first time to every single second inbetween [closed; done with]. also a sort of variant upon a one off “postcard” that I created for a VisualAIDS Postcards from the Edge benefit exhibition a year or so back. to be cut down: 16cm x 22cm.

‘nother print done: … untitled [some heart’s veneer / all the small things]; three colour / layer silkscreen print. small scale [measurement] variant edition of … [and] here, now, in tender embrace: like some heart’s veneer [stripped: forsaken]. still to be cut down: 16cm x 22cm.

… untitled [in wan light / all the small things]: small scale [measurement] variant edition of “… [and] now, in wan light, whispered: sweet is life to me still [eyes closed: held]”. three colour silkscreen print; to be cut down: 16 x 22cm. had a few issues with the printing of this: first layer has stuff on there that shouldn’t be, second layer didn’t have enough detail showing through, so had to be redrawn; then the third layer just wouldn’t register up. add onto all of this random stupid mistakes, little fluffy bits of paper and dribbles of water. not sure what the edition size of this will now be; anticipating that it may be quite small. have a good look through the prints later; see how my levels of acceptance are.

… untitled [numb: no more words]: variant edition three colour silkscreen print based upon a mono print. I liked the general sort of “overallness” of the original mono print; but the black just didn’t print up solid enough. decided to see if it could be adapted into a silkscreen print. problems with printing: the first layer sticks out from under the second layer [just a tiny, tiny wee bit; but I noticed it; so someone else will]. the third layer just refused to line up at all and then left constant print marks across the center of the print [hopefully these will dry out]. didn’t feel like starting again from scratch; it’ll have to be accepted: mistakes and all. image: 22 x 22cm; paper to be cut down to 30 x 30cm. probably going to be a small edition.
