hmmm. did the third and fourth layers [varnish and black] of my “beer bottle label” print today; starting to look like something to do with Newcastle football club. oh well.

been invited to take part in an exhibition in which the artwork is inspired by the Mexican beer bottle label. did the stencils last week and started printing it up today: first two colours done [silver / black] get the rest done through the coming week sometime. intent is to use a copper “fill” for the text but I’m quite liking the text left as the paper white; see how it goes. as someone who doesn’t speak Mexican / Spanish I await grammatical critiques with bated breath.
